Shane left the corporate world to pursue a passion for the ocean, diving, and teaching. He is a boat captain, Master SCUBA Diver Trainer, and is certified to teach over 20 specialties.  Being from the land-locked state of Colorado, he has had to travel to pursue his passion and has dived in over a dozen countries.  Shane loves underwater photography, specifically macro photography, bringing attention to the little guys who live in the shadows of sharks, dolphins, rays, and turtles.  When not in the water, he’s passionate about health and fitness, loves to read, and loves sharing the ocean’s wonders through conservation. What fills his cup most is introducing new divers to the underwater world.  Landing in Saint Croix, USVI,  he is blessed to join the team at Blue Salt Divers.
