How might weather affect my trip?
- Weather can affect a diving trip in many ways. While we usually have great weather in St. Croix, our Captains are skilled in checking the forecast and making the best calls. Trips may be cancelled ahead of time or during a dive due to lightning, wind and wave conditions, etc. When possible, we may offer shore diving as an alternative.
Do you offer private charters?
- Yes! If you have a group that would like to book the boat privately, please reach out to us and we can put together a wonderful experience for you.
Can snorkelers or riders go on the trips?
- Yes, we can accommodate snorkelers and riders on our trips. Snorkelers will always have a snorkel guide in the water with them.
Do you offer guided shore diving?
- Absolutely! We are lucky to have so many different dive sites in St. Croix and our team of instructors and divemasters are well versed in all of them. We can supply any gear needed for shore dives and meet you at any shore diving spot you'd like to go to, depending on weather conditions and skill levels.
What are the conditions usually like?
- St. Croix offers amazing Caribbean diving! Most days we have calm sea conditoins, crystal clear visibility, and little to no current.
What can I expect the day to be like?
- When you arrive at the shop, we'll get you checked in at our front desk. Our boat crew will load and set up all gear for you. After loading the dive group, the boat heads out to the first dive site on St. Croix's north shore which can be anywhere from a 10-40 minute boat ride. After a one-hour dive, the boat will move locations to a second site for another one-hour dive.
Do you offer gear storage?
- Absolutely! If you're diving with us for multiple days, please feel free to let one of our staff know and we will rinse, dry, and store gear for you at the shop.
Should I bring my own gear?
- If you have your own gear you'd like to use, feel free to bring it. If not, we have an amazing suite of rental gear available with anything you might need for your dives.
How many people are on each trip?
- Our boat carries a maximum of 12 divers, keeping each trip intimate and small.
Can I choose which sites I want to dive?
- If you have sites that you'd like to request, our boat crew will do our best to accommodate. However, it may not always be possible depending on diving needs, weather, etc.
