Phil has been fascinated by the ocean since he was a child and was hooked on underwater adventures after watching Jacques Cousteau onboard the Calypso! While a Naval Air Crewman and Rescue Swimmer on helicopters during his service, he got his first SCUBA certification in 1991 and took every chance he could get to dive for years after. He found his peace and center underwater. In 2021, Phil moved to St. Croix to become a Master Scuba Diver Trainer and is now stoked to be one of the new owners at Blue Salt Divers!
