PADI® Open Water Diver is the first scuba certification level. One of our highly-trained PADI Instructors will teach you how to scuba dive in a relaxed, supportive learning environment. By the end of the course, you'll have the skills and knowledge to dive at home or abroad and be an ambassador for the underwater world.

Steps to Earning Your Open Water Certification
Step 1 - PADI eLearning (click link to purchase) (5-10 hours)
PADI eLearning makes it easy to fit scuba lessons into a busy schedule. Learn about scuba diving principles and terminology online - whenever, wherever it's convenient for you with a computer or mobile device. You can always reach out to us if you have questions throughout the modules.
Step 2 - Confined Dives
Practice using scuba gear in a shallow, sandy area near our dive shop until you're comfortable.
Setp 3 - Open Water Dives
Complete four open water dives with your instructor on reef sites along St. Croix's northshore to practice your skills and become a confident Open Water Diver!
